St. Patty’s Day

This morning we kicked off our St. Patrick’s Day festivities early with a nutritious breakfast of Lucky Charms followed by a craft.

Welcome to the family, Lucky the Leprechaun.  (craft idea from I Heart Crafty Things)

And now for a St. Patrick’s Day limerick.

Lucky is fast on his feet, they spring up and down in pink, his bow tie askew, he knows what to do, yet wishes his eyes could blink.

Okay, that was lame!  But this video?  So not lame.  That Lucky, he can dance!  And Max is doing “The Max” (which is a truly a thing we say except it’s his real name).  He cracks me up.  He’s been dancing this way since he was a wee lad. 🙂  Some things never change!

Mini wasn’t feeling her spunky self in the video, I’m not sure why.  But she made up for it the rest of the day.  She was super excited about having green milk with lunch.

  1. Oh man, that dance video was great! Kids are so fun! I LOVE how you added the body, arms and legs to your Leprechaun. Awesome idea! Thanks for linking to me. 🙂
