On Friday night we had no plans. No schedule to keep, no need to rush; just wanted to go for a leisurely walk around the lake.
If I have learned one thing about parenting a toddler it is this: you must submit to leisure.
And bring your camera. Even if you don’t get far around the lake, you don’t want to forget these walks.
And these expressions.
And these tantrums.
Okay, maybe you want to pretend those don’t exist.
But you definitely don’t want to forget how many things you see when you’re unhurried.
He lapped us at nearly the same spot.
(and yes, he always wears two different flip flops. He says it’s his thing.)
