Adoption (Open)

I Promise Not to Start Singing Thank You by Ray Boltz

Last night we just went over to A’s house for pizza and A’s best friend and her mom came over for a while. Then her neighbor, who is a close family friend and prayer partner, stopped by with her family.

One of the coolest things about both Max’s and Mini’s adoptions is that we had the chance, after the birth, to meet the people who were dedicated prayer warriors for them in utero. For Max, it was a woman named Ruth. For Mini, Christine. There were many others that God used, but we’ve come to find out that these women, in particular, were extremely instrumental through their dedication to praying for our children.

Isn’t it awesome that we got to meet them this side of heaven?

You never know how God will use you. And we should never think that prayer is a little thing.

  1. That is amazing!!! I just love that you got to meet them. As a matter of fact, I love that you have gotten to meet so many people who are involved in the lives of A & J. Awesome! And I am so excited that all things are a “go” for your return home! Hugs to you!

  2. So beautiful for you to recognize the powers that bring us our journey. Again, I’m *loving* your story. It brings me hope and inspiration.

Oh, and thanks for stopping by.

  3. That is so wonderful that you are getting to meet so many people connected to Mini. I was curious how your visit with J’s parents went? Praying that it went well.
Praying for your safe return home.
    Chris
