Just wanted to write a quick post. Thank you so much for praying. The surgery went well and I “came to” feeling just a little pressure, not really pain. They gave me some good stuff. The nurses were singing the praises of the anesthesiologist nurse in the OR. She is a famous superstar in that hospital.
The endometriosis was more severe than expected and the cyst wasn’t really a cyst after all. My doctor told me about it and printed out a lovely set of pictures and showed them to Mike. I’m sorry babe. That was not in our wedding vows. I’ll have my questions answered at my follow-up appt, and probably won’t go into it because, gross. But it’s not a solid mass or anything so no worries about cancer. He took the ovary and fallopian tube out and did a d&c and ablation first. I’m kinda excited about the ablation.
And now that you know more about me than you cared to know, I’ll go back to bed. I’m having more pain now but no where near the intensity of some that I’ve had in the past. I just feel like I did a thousand double crunches. I actually dreamed about the 30 Day Shred.
That’s messed up.
