We took a break from Disney on Monday and drove about 45 minutes to visit Legoland. As much as we like Disney World, we had a feeling this day would be a hit. We kinda like Legos. This was heaven on earth for Max! And Mini is just now getting into Lego Friends stuff so she was very excited, too.
Plus, she is an adrenaline junkie as far as rides go. Legoland, as you would expect, has a lot of kiddie attractions and rides that are perfect for elementary-age kids. Mini was thrilled that she was tall enough for several of them.
Since we went on a Monday in the off-season, our wait wasn’t 45 minutes like this sign says. We only waited 5 minutes for each ride. Awesome.
Max did not want to ride on the one fast roller coaster but there were so many other rides to choose. However, when he rode this one and passed by, he said, “I don’t know how I feel about this…”
It was no surprise that he was really interested in MiniLand (a walk-thru area of cities and other themes built entirely out of Legos). I guess you could say he was excited about that.
I think we all enjoyed Legoland more than we expected. The food was good, the rides were varied and fun (Nana, Mike, and I liked the big roller coaster, Flying School), the weather was spring-like, and the kids had a blast. What more could you ask for?

Ok that place is like Lego heaven! I’m guessing my kiddo would never want to leave! Looks like a blast! Ann
What fun! Smiles & Smiles
How stinkin’ awesome! I LOVED the giant fruit and the Ford! Some talented lego-builders. I think Max should work there when he’s older… he could build a lego Ovechkin!!
We never visited Legoland but I know Sam would have LOVED it! Sorry I have not been commenting much lately. HOpe you all are well! We have started passing the idea around about making a trip up the east coast and end up in DC! The kids don’t remember living up there and are fascinated with the city!
It would be awesome to see you guys!
