My sweet friend Lorraine called me last week and asked if she could organize a little Easter egg hunt for my kids and her nephew. She said I wouldn’t have to do a thing, just come and have a good time.
Wait, let me think about that for a seco…m’kay.
It was so much fun and OH, how I love the vivid colors of Easter.

Max wearing – you guessed it! – his favorite yellow tie

While the big kids were dying eggs, Mini was on the hunt for some fun elsewhere in the house. I followed close behind.

Hmm, what’s in here?

Colorful cups! Perfect!

Look at those chubby rosy cheeks

And those delicious dark brown eyes

And that itchy (?!) green grass. Her Miss Prissy expression cracks me up.

Take a look at those colors adding up in the bucket. Max couldn’t get it filled to the top fast enough!

So fast he may have lost his balance a time or twelve.

The competition was fierce and prizes were awarded. These two are so funny. You may remember what happened the last time they went “hunting.”

Mini’s prize was this cute yellow duck (!) Thanks Lorraine, we had such a fun (and colorful!) afternoon.

great photos, adorable kids… the head in the sand photo cracks me up! that would make an awesome black and white post card!
I LOVE THAT DRESS!!!! What a fun day.
Wow, they really raked in the eggs. All thos colors make me happy too. Mini looked precious in her polka-dotted dress–that coordinated perfectly with the bunny cake. Glad y’all had fun!
Looks like a really fun day!
I LOVE Max’s tie with his shirt! lol.
Mini looks adorable–like always!
I like that the bunny cake matches Mini’s dress. That girl is delicious! And Max – quite the grown up! He really does like ties, doesn’t he? Caleb would be jealous!
