One thing that God has impressed upon me this year is that He wants me to know He is in control and that He is trustworthy. His timing is perfect and that I can always rest in that, no matter how big or small the worry.
This blog has allowed me to write down when God does something powerful in my life and, looking back, I always see that when I noticed it, I’m all the more wowed over Him.
Today, we had an appt at the pediatrician to get Max’s staples removed and before we arrived, I thought about asking if they had any free samples of Enfamil. Not that we are in financial need for free samples right now, but hey, why not ask?
Right away I thought to myself, “nah, I shouldn’t take those samples because I know this particular doctors’ office has many patients who are in more financial need than I am”. Then for a few minutes I had an argument with myself.
Not that it was wrong to ask for free samples that were given by a giant corporation, but I think God was telling me something in this moment while I was having this argument with myself. About sharing, being thankful, watching for Him to provide, etc.
So I didn’t ask.
Guess what the mail man just dropped off at my door?
2 free cans of Enfamil.
Hmm. Just interesting that they came today.

God is good, and He always provides. Very cool timing.
I love stories like this…

(Just for the record, I noticed on my wordpress dashboard that I had commented on this blog, so I clicked over to see what I had supposedly written…I actually did NOT write the comment above…not sure how my picture and name appeared there! I have, on the other hand, read your blog…starting with the new design by dcrmom who also did mine! Keep writing!!)
God is so good and He knows our needs and lavishly takes care of them!
