We had a fantastic babysitter for Max the other night and I came home to a sparkling clean kitchen. Awesome!
I giggled when I noticed that Mini’s bottles on the counter were lined up according to size, color, and whether or not they had a cap.
I would love to do this. Every day. It would make me happy. But no, it never looks like this. These same bottles are usually piled high in the sink with a remaining half ounce of formula at the bottom. Definitely not washed. Absolutely not lined up all pretty.
So, I’m thinking of getting a babysitter every night.
Oh wait. I already have a live-in one.
Train them up while they’re young, I say. Tomorrow I’m going to teach him how to wash bottles!

i love it when i have a sitter who cleans up. unfortnately, that never happens anymore. when i was a sitter, i ALWAYS cleaned up the kitchen and the living room, but what is with teenagers these days?
what a great sitter!
I hope Max gets the organization thing down quickly for you! CUTE.
I asked my hubby yesterday, “Is it a bad thing when you ask your oldest where your younger two are and if they are OK…especially when your oldest is only 5?”
hahaha. I second that. Gotta teach ‘em while they’re young!
amen, sister. When I was a babysitter, the family would come home to a spotless kitchen and straightened living room. And, as some would argue, no I didn’t put that as a priority over watching the kiddos…I would do it after they went to bed.
My last sitter (ugh) KNEW how stressed I was leaving one night…in the middle of a move…a newborn, etc… and she actually said to me when I came home exhausted, “um, you need to clean some bottles!”
grrrrrrrrrrr
LOVE that picture of Max looking over at Mini. Great moment!
Very nice bottle arrangement. She is a keeper!
