For this fun edition of Works-For-Me-Wednesday, we are all sharing about the name-brand products that we love. Here’s a list of the ones I can not live without:
Wait just a second. First, let me say that I’m a sucker for marketing and cute packaging. So, really, if the product has a slide zip-lock top, has fun colors on the box, is on display at the store, or is endorsed by someone pretty, then I’ll buy it.
But, for the everyday stuff, here’s what you’d find in different parts of our house.
In the kitchen: I think I own about a hundred different Pampered Chef products so I have to say I’m loyal to that catalog even though I don’t really like to cook, but I LOVE to pretend like I do! I have enjoyed everything I’ve ever ordered from them.
Living Room: Um, it’s a mix between Hasbro and Fisher Price right now. And in a couple months, there will be some Huggies boxes to add to the interior design (yay - we’re adopting!)
Family Room: Netflix. I have a deep devotion for our queue. We don’t have cable so this is how we get caught up on all the TV shows that everyone talks about. When we’re in the middle of a good series, it feels like Mike & I are on a late-night date (we usually don’t start the DVD ’til 11pm or later). We get so excited when something new comes in the mail and have the time to watch it that night. (Wow, we’re such dorks!)
And now for the really critical areas of life:
Scrapbooking: I used to sell Creative Memories so I’m partial to their albums, tools, tape runner, and ABC stickers. I love Costco film developing best of all but Snapfish and Kodak EasyShare Gallery are a tie for 2nd.
Food: Cabot cheese (have you tried the reduced fat cheddar? So good!), Pepperidge Farm, Carrs, or Wheatsworth crackers, PopSecret Homestyle microwave popcorn, Helluva Good French Onion Dip, Baked Lays, m&m’s, Edwards frozen creme pies, Hershey’s or Lindt or Fannie Mae or See’s chocolate, Cheez-Its, Edy’s ice-cream, Philadelphia cream cheese, Jif Creamy peanut butter, and regular Coke from the fountain if I’m eating a big, fat burger and fries. But other than that, I’m not really that picky and we eat pretty healthy - LOL!
Funny how I started that list with the reduced fat item, huh?
Ironic.
Well, those are some of the products that work for me. To see what other name brands are considered favorites, click on by to visit Shannon at Rocks In My Dryer.

We love NetFlix too! Our entire family is hooked on Voyager (Star Trek) and even our 3 year old knows what’s going on. We are on a Voyager marathon… we are almost done all 7 seasons in about as many months.
I’m totally with you on Sees, Philadelphia cream cheese, and Costco film developing…
congrats on adopting! I’m adopted…I highly recommend it!

Great list! I use some of the brands you mention. We’ve had Netflix for over 2 years now and we love it!
I totally forgot about Netflix. I love that. I especially love the new Watch Now feature. I’ve been watching a ton of the stuff on my computer while I wait for DVDs to come. It is the best.
Congrats on adopting. I’m adopting 5 kids -just waiting on the finalization date.
I love Pampered chef items too…I used to sell it, so I have quite a few items!
Congrats on adopting!
I forgot that I am loyal to Creative Memories products as well!! What a big list you have….I jotted a few down to try….
You reminded me that I love Pampered Chef, too. I have loved everything I’ve ever bought from them.
Congratulations on your upcoming adoption. That’s very exciting.
Haaa! Love your list! It was best for to get the pesky reduced fat chees out of the way first so you would have plenty of room for the REALLY good stuff.
I like the Creative Memories albums & pages–so sturdy. I’m a Pampered Chef junkie too. At one point I truly believed they would change my life in the kitchen and I HAD to have them. Hmmm. Life goes on I guess.
I so love pampered chef products also! and sees who can beat see, i love th milk bordeaux (spelling) YUMMY!
I love Pampered Chef, Longaberger Baskets, and Swarovski Crystal. We are big Netflix fans, also.
