Shannon over at Rocks In My Dryer participated in a meme where you have to answer 5 random questions. Thought I’d play along just for the fun of it!

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Cheese. I’m assuming there are no side effects in the rest of my life.

What’s the most nerve-racking “close call” you’ve ever had?

When I worked at a radiology office I accidentally gave the wrong chest x-rays to a patient who was going to take them to a surgeon. Thankfully, I realized my mistake only minutes after he left. Needless to say, I was glad he was so polite when I ran out to the parking lot nearly knocking him down with the x-rays that really belonged to him. And I breathed a sigh of relief when my boss allowed me to come back to work the next day.

Name five features your ultimate dream house would have.

A yard bigger than a postage stamp, a playground, two trees perfectly spaced apart for a hammock, a back porch, and a kitchen with plenty of counter space.

Who has been the most influential non-relative in your life?

Probably my friend who led our college Bible Study back in the day. He was the first Christian I met whose theological views differed from mine and he welcomed a good argument. Man, I studied up for those. Although we probably would still be arguing about the same things to this day, I have to say his approach of “if you can convince me, then I’ll change my thinking” was a good thing for me and deepened my own faith.

What one non-physical feature would you most like to change about yourself?

I wish I could read people’s lips. I’m forever saying “huh?” when someone tries to discreetly say something to me from across the room. Then being discreet goes out the window. I’m hopeless.
