This special edition of Rocks In My Dryer’s Works-For-Me-Wednesday is: Mom, I’m Bored! Everyone’s sharing tips of what works in their home to bust boredom during the long summer days.
I decided to share what didn’t work for me, though:
I probably won’t be saying “go play computer games at Playhouse Disney’s website” again. At least not while I’m busy doing something upstairs!

That is too funny.
My kids just instinctively started asking me if they could print anything. So, that became a rule. Since…really…that’s mostly the kind of thing they would print out too. LOL
LOL – we use playhouse disney, too, but my son took a while to understand the print dialogue box. We made it seem like the box was a bad thing and he quit hitting the print button. Another solution – remove the paper from the printer
Yep, that’s what my husband said. He didn’t think it was quite as funny and I seem to remember some mumbling about the price of toner.
[...] WARNING! some of those sites have much-too-easy-to-print buttons, as this post describes [...]
Ack! Thanks for sharing!
This has happened to me in the classroom too! At least you captured the humor in it on film!
Heeheee, I learnt the hard way that even making them ask “Mom can I print a page off” doesn’t help that much. Not when it’s FULL FULL FULL COLOUR!
Been there, done that before! My boys are print happy, too.
Hshaha! Lesson larned, I guess
Thank goodness my kids don’t understand how to print yet!!! Hopefully they won’t figure it out on their own though!!!
My daughter will print out anything that has a print button on the computer. And she once somehow managed to order a book off Amazon by pressing on some links off a website. It’s amazing wht they can figure out
Ahahahaha I had this happen to me too, now my kids have a limit of printing only 2 pages a day each (unless it’s school work of course)
